Q: I need a cable to go from my parallel port on my PC (or older laptop) to a USB printer. Where do I find this?

A: There is not a cable made that does this. A parallel port only produces 500Kbps, many USB devices require the throughput that a USB port produces (12 to 480Mbps). We advise installing a USB card in the PC or a PCMCIA card for the laptop. This way you go USB to USB and drivers don't become an issue.
